They are still immutable, right? If mod changes content of some data.json file, this change won't appear in workspace itself?

Correct. It gets synced down from the cloud at launch. So it will blow away or revert your data.json file each launch though.

If you need it to not be blown away you can store it in the app config dir or wherever else
